How the heck do you spell Havaianas (that's the correct spelling though). I thought it was Havannas when I first heard people talking about it -- then I went online, searched for it, and couldn't find a single thing about those rubber slippers. After much digging around, I finally got the correct spelling of Havaianas, and happily bought myself a pair of them.
Oh, in case you're clueless about what I'm going on about, Havaianas are an extremely popular brand of flip-flops from Brazil. They're supposedly very comfortable, as the rubber is made from a special resin, and the feeling of wearing them is akin to "walking on air". True or not? I've bought myself a pair, and I think they're very comfortable indeed, but not THAT comfortable. Shoebuy and Zappos didn't stock them, so I got mine from Amazon.com. I chose the England World Cup slippers because they were white-based, and easier to match with berms for that casual look. Overall, I'd say they are a great pair of comfortable and durable slippers, with a little bit more class than your average flip-flops. |
