Great Sandal; Great Value

I do not like "open toe" sandals. I have had several pairs of them from all different manufacturers over the years and each pair has truly stunk. And, each pair has consistently found itself in my trash bin. The fit of the sandal to my foot is the problem. Either they're too short or not wide enough with each of these conditions causing my foot to slip and slide around in the sandal; the blisters coming quickly and painfully thereafter. Well, I heard great things about this sandal and the Teva brand. So, I opted to try them out and this particular sandal was chosen. But, I wasn't sure that these sandals would be any different from the other 3 pairs that have made it into my trash. Well, I was wrong. These sandals fit. They are comfortable. My foot stays contentedly in place. I wear a size 12 and these provide all the room in length I want. The same goes for the width with my medium-sized foot in place, there is no sliding around for my foot. Whether worn barefoot or with an ankle sport sock, I'm sold on these sandals. Finally, a sandal that works for me!

Good Idea, Terrible Construction

We are avid kayakers in S.W. Florida, we (my wife and I) each bought a pair of Teva's. In less than a month they were both falling apart. The soles came loose and the straps came out. Teva said they were aware of the problem, but would not fix or replace the product unless we would pay to send them to Teva and wait 4 to 6 weeks for their decision! I would never buy their product again. I am a mechanic for over 20 years so I repaired them with an industrial hot melt glue gun...they still fall apart every couple of months. I'm going to try Merrell's next, will update then.
